Gravesend Borough Market – Covid 19

Gravesend Borough Market will remain open for business as usual in Tier 3.

We have had to make a few changes to make sure that the market can operate safely. If you or anyone at home has a temperature or a new, persistent cough, please do not enter the market.

You must scan or fill in out the Track and Trace form when entering the Market building and wear a face covering, over your nose and mouth at all times.  If you are exempt you must display the appropriate lanyard to state this.

Wash or sanitise your hands before entering, please respect social distancing.  There are handy markers on the floor to follow.

Food and drink bought at the market must be taken away and consumed off site.  There is currently no communal seating available, and we would ask visitors to avoid congregating anywhere in the market.

If we are busy, you may be asked to queue to enter the market, 2 metres apart.

Please pay by card if at all possible.

Please try not to pick up and put down items of produce.  Wash any uncovered purchases when you get home.

Handsanitiser is available throughout the market, and we would encourage you to use these as you arrive and just before you leave.

We have followed the COVID-19 secure government guidance for returning to work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
