Rico Sabor, licensed Café & Bakery, opened for business on Saturday 15 July at Gravesend Borough Market offering all day breakfasts, fresh loaves and sandwiches, lunches, pastries and patisseries.
The café, which is open from 8am – 4pm Tuesday to Sunday, is owned by the already successful Rico Sabor restaurant, located in the under croft at the Town Hall, Gravesend, which is currently ranked third out of 122 restaurants in Gravesend on Trip Advisor.
There is free WiFi in Gravesend Borough Market and lots of choice for a quick snack or a lingering lunch with a glass of wine.
Owner, Julian Ramirez said: “We are really pleased to be able to open a second food eatery in Gravesend, the customers seem so friendly and are really enjoying the fresh food that we are offering. Gravesend Market is something that I think the town can be proud of and is becoming a popular meeting place for business people, families and couples to enjoy. People can sit outside during the summer under the parasols and take in the river views and we have a spacious accessible inside area. At the moment we have a bouncy castle for children to use for free so why not come down and try one of our nutritious tasty children’s lunch boxes for the kids while you enjoy our superb Colombian Arabica coffee and your full English breakfast.”
Market Manager, Jackie Bowles said: “It’s so fabulous to have the food eateries open at Gravesend Borough Market. Rico Sabor Café and Bakery really adds to the food places that have recently opened. We also have Oz’s Street Food who specialises in tasty fresh chicken fillet burgers and chicken tikka wraps which have been very popular with customers so far.
“Rico Sabor has added a beautiful visual space to the market and I’m so pleased to welcome them along with the other new traders. I’ve sampled food from all three places now and can’t decide which I like best, although I am partial to the full English breakfast before I start work.
