Join the traders at our vibrant, newly refurbished market and start selling.

Simply complete our online form below and we’ll be in touch. You’ll be able to choose between being either a temporary or permanent trader.

Trading hours are 9am to 5pm on Tuesday to Saturday. And 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

How much does it cost?

Permanent trader

A single unit costs £300 per month, plus VAT. A £300 deposit is required, alongside one months’ rent in advance. For shop signage, we charge £30 plus VAT.

For a double unit, the above rates are doubled.

Electricity meters are installed in each unit, billed quarterly.

Social media and notice board advertising are included.

Temporary trader

Pop up stalls cost £15 per day (Tuesday to Friday), or £20 per day (Saturday and Sunday)

Street Food stalls cost £25 per day (Tuesday to Friday), or £40 per day (Saturday and Sunday)

Rents must be paid in advance. We’ll provide all the stall frames and table tops for you to use, although please be aware we don’t have any storage at the market.

Apply to become a trader

Use our online application form to express your interest. It takes about ten minutes to complete. We’ll ask you to provide:

  • a copy of your photo ID (passport or driver’s licence)
  • a copy of your public liability insurance up to £5 million (plus insurance to cover employees, if any)
  • a copy of your Health & Hygiene Certificate (if a food producer)
  • a copy of your signed licence agreement (choose below)
  • your National Insurance number
