Gravesend Borough Market had a successful family event, “Sunday Funday” on 25 June. This event was organised by the Market traders and coordinated by Laura Pigott from Make It Up, The Caped Crusader and Prints With Love.
Family entertainment including the very popular TK Art’s Circus Workshops which many children and families joined in diablo, juggling with balls & scarves, Kendama and plate spinning.
Professor Jonathans Punch And Judy was a massive hit, creating great laughter and a happy atmosphere with lots of children enjoying the shows, many for the first time.
For the very first time we had a fun fair on the Piazza, outside on the Market Square including a Coconut Shy, Chairoplanes and Bungee rides.
With performances from Hollywood School Of Dancing and The Knights Academy Of Music & Performing Arts the Market was full of people having a great time.
With a variety of pop up stalls and shops, food and refreshments there was something for everyone and the Market was buzzing with lots of people enjoying the atmosphere and the entertainment with all the children having massive smiles on their faces.
Oz’s Street Food selling chicken fillet burgers, chicken wraps, pies and chips had a really good day for their first day of trading. They have had very good comments from customers on how fresh and tasty their food is!
